Leave management update

This week we sent an email to all principals and authorised users introducing new leave management guidelines now available on the Novopay website and providing more detailed information about the Leave Balance Confirmation process. We also included a fact sheet to share with employees for their reference.

Bookings for the Leave Balance Confirmation eWebinar open Monday 22 June for training that begins Monday 21 July and runs through to Friday 14 August. This training is offered by Training Services and can be booked via the Novopay website. A leave management self-paced learning module is also available starting 21 July but no bookings are required.

Before we proceed with the Leave Balance Confirmation process with all schools in August, we will test the process first, as a pilot. This testing gets underway next week and will inform the final Leave Balance Confirmation process that we'll be sharing with principals and authorised users once the pilot is complete.

Remember to visit the Leave programme page in the News section of the Novopay website homepage for programme activities, timelines, and resource links.

For booking assistance, please contact the Training Services team at or on 04 463 0928.
