New science technician designation code
The S89 designation code has recently been created for school science technicians and is now in the NOVO1nt form and EdPay. The code can be found in the designation code drop-down list.
We ask that people working at your school doing the same or similar work as a school science technician be assigned this code.
The Ministry of Education requires data on this workforce to assist with the School Science Technicians Pay Equity Claim. Read the letter to schools from the Ministry about this change and why they require this information here.
