Holiday Pay error for 15 Aug strike participants

We have identified that around 700 participants of the 15 August 2018 Industrial Action had their Holiday Pay affected in the last pay period.

Where an employee takes more than 5 days of Leave Without Pay (LWOP), this can impact Holiday Pay. Strike LWOP was included in this calculation when it should not have been.

All employees who had deductions against their pay made due to this error will be reimbursed on pay day 07 November.

We have made some of these corrections for Draft SUE, but not all. The full scope of these corrections will be processed by Final SUE.

We apologise for the inconvenience and have taken steps to ensure it will not occur in the future.
